SATURDAY
NIGHT FEVER
Put
on your flares, dig out your Afros and stick on those platform shoes as
you are going dancing 70s style. From the films like Saturday Night
Fever to the music of ABBA this is the era where anything goes. So with
your kipper ties at the ready and your collars wider then the River Thames
get ready to strut your funky stuff to the Sounds of the Seventies.
As
your guests arrive they are given a piece of nostalgia from the seventies
and ushered into our very own recreation of Fawity Towers, where upon
they will receive service second to none. As Basil plays host and Manual
serves the drinks, Sybil will entertain and charm your guests thus
setting the scene.
After
45 minutes of fun and frolicks at the Fawity Towers Hotel the gong is
sounded and it is time for dinner. As your guests enter the dining room
they are flung back to the glitter ball era of flares, disco and HOT STUFF.
As
the meal commences the caricaturist & balloonist work their way up
and down the tables leaving you with small but fun momentos of the evening.
The disco is playing background music from the seventies and everyones
feeling Groovy.
As
the meal comes to an end it is time for the cabaret part of the evening
as the Funky Divas take to the stage and perform their amazing
seventies dance routines. In full costume they take the stage by storm
leaving you and
your
guests just waiting to hit the dance floor.
As
the girls leave the stage it is time to pay tribute to probably the best
known band of all time. No seventies night would be complete without an
ABBA tribute, it is time to hold onto your hats as the lights go up on
the one and only Always Abba.
After
a thrilling one hour show it is time for Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida
to take their leave. But do not fear the evening is not yet finished as
we still have one more act to come. As the second band of the evening
get ready to take the stage it is time for your guests to be wowed. Captain
Glamtastic is ready to thrill, shock and excite your guests with their
stunning costumes, wicked make-up and superb sounds from the era of GLAMROCK.
After
all this excitement there is only one way to end the evening and as the
DJ takes over it is time for you to take centre stage with your very own
rendition of Saturday Night Fever!
