THE TALES OF ROBIN HOOD

Cast your minds back to the days of olde, Knights of the Round Table, Sherwood Forest and Robin Hood and his Merry Men. This is a Medieval Banquet with a difference and you are about to relive the experience of jousting, magic, conjuring tricks and jesting.

As your guests arrive they will be greeted by the sight of a fire display, performed by our very own daring Jesters. As they make their way into the castle the sounds of the strumming minstrels will set the scene for the evening ahead.

As the gong is sounded the Court Jester will invite you and your guests to take their seats, as the banquet will be about to commence. The room will be split into two halves with Robin Hood and his Merry Men on one side and the King and his Knights on the other.

As the food is served the jesters enter the arena and start the proceedings with a multitude of tricks from juggling and stilt dancing to lying on a bed of nails.

As you and your guests finish off your broth it is time for the first challenge. Robin Hood and the King will pick five challengers from each team who will pit their wits against each other in the archery competition.

Once the second course draws to a close it is time for the second challenge, this time a different five challengers will be chosen from each team to compete in the arm wrestling competition.

The third and final challenge is perhaps the most difficult as the chosen challengers go into battle in the bobbing apples competition.

Once the winning side has been announced it is time to sit back, relax and enjoy the medieval show. You will witness stunning and daring tricks performed by our talented young jesters who will be looking to you for approval — lest they should not work again in the court of the King!

As the show draws to an end it is time for yet more participation from yourselves as the Medieval Tarot Reader gets to work and the Pole Jousting Simulator is waiting to take you up on your challenge.

With our disco waiting to take you on into the small hours of the morning the only question left is — can you complete the challenges you have been set or will you be banished from the court for good!!
